Terms of sale, refunds and privacy.

What you are buying

A digital artwork: a public-domain painting in which the original animal has been replaced with a likeness of your pet, delivered as a print-ready file (about 20 inches at 300 dpi), plus a one-page printing and framing guide. The calendar set is twelve such artworks laid out as a print-ready calendar PDF. Nothing physical is shipped.

Every base painting is in the public domain. The finished file is licensed to you for personal use — print it, frame it, gift it. It may not be resold, redistributed or used commercially.

How it works

• You choose the painting(s) and pay through Stripe. Your email address is collected at checkout.
• You upload one clear photo per pet on the confirmation page (or reply to your receipt with the photos).
• Within 24–48 hours you receive a preview by email. One round of revisions is included; further rounds may be quoted.
• After approval you receive the final file(s) by email or download link.

If the photo you send will not produce a good likeness we tell you promptly and ask for another.

Refunds

• Before work begins (no preview sent yet): full refund on request.
• After the preview: one included revision. If we cannot reach a likeness you're happy with after that, we refund in full — we would rather refund than deliver something you won't hang.
• After delivery of the final file: digital goods cannot be returned, so refunds are not offered except where the file is defective.

To request a refund, reply to your Stripe receipt.

Privacy

• What we collect: your email (via Stripe), the photos you upload, and the notes you write about your pet. Payment card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.
• Where it lives: photos and order notes are stored on Cloudflare R2 (encrypted at rest). Payment records live in Stripe.
• How long: photos and working files are deleted 30 days after final delivery. Order records are kept as long as accounting law requires.
• What we don't do: we don't sell or share your data, we don't use your photos to train AI models, and we don't show your commission publicly without asking you first.
• Your rights: ask us at any time to see or delete what we hold — reply to your receipt.

PetInMasterpieces is a trading name of CJ Meridian LLC. CJ Meridian LLC is the seller of record for every order and the party responsible for delivery and refunds. Card statements show this order as PetInMasterpieces.
